We know that Netflix’s big anime adaptation this year is going to be One Piece, but they’re also going to be streaming an IP that also got the anime adaptation around the same time.

Akira Tendo (Eiji Akaso) works at an exploitative company where he suffers endless hours and harassment from his boss. Spending more days feeling dead than alive, he awakes to discover his town has been devastated and overtaken by zombies and suddenly feels excited at the prospect of not needing to go to the office anymore.
Coming to the realization that he’d rather be eaten by zombies if he can’t do what he wants, Akira comes up with a bucket list of 100 things he wants to do before becoming a zombie. What will become of him as he joyfully lives his life amid a zombie apocalypse?! Get ready for this zombie comedy for anyone stressed out by modern society!
I’ll admit, it’s a fun twist on the zombie genre that we haven’t gotten since Zombieland. Though we’ve seen period zombies and zombies in a high school, this is the first time we’re actually seeing a zombie setting being used to tell a story about self-fulfillment and fun.
The anime will be hitting Netflix first with episodes starting to stream on July 9, and a month later we get the live-action series which drops on Aug. 3.
