Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy – Kingdom Gets New Trailer

Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy – Kingdom Gets New Trailer

We have known for a while that the Transformers: War for Cybertron series had three parts; and after Siege and Earthrise, Netflix has official revealed the final part of the trilogy—Kingdom.

Watch the trailer for the new Transformers series down here:

The official description reads:

Now the Autobots must team up with the Maximals to confront the Decepticons, who have joined forces with the Predacons, in the race to find the missing AllSpark. However, the Predacons are in control of the Golden Disk, a mysterious artifact which has a personal connection to Megatron and gives him an untold advantage over his enemy, Optimus Prime. Which faction will triumph in the final battle that will decide the fate of Cybertron’s future?

With the War for Cybertron essentially considered a prequel to the original stories of the Transformers, it’s going to be interesting to see where the series ends—especially with the show drawing from Beast Wars from the 90s.

Though it was the Michael Bay films that got Transformers their worldwide audience, War for Cybertron has offered a great jumping point for fans who are curious about the original shows that came out in the 80s. The showrunners even went so far as to adapt the original G-1 designs of the characters.

We don’t know what’s in store for Transformers after War for Cybertron, but with a Beast Wars film in the works, Kingdom is sure to get a new generation of fans pumped for characters like Optimus Primal and Dinosaur Megatron.

Transformers: War for Cyberton Trilogy– Kingdom comes out on July 29 on Netflix.
