While everyone is excited for the return of Din Djarin and Baby Yoda in The Mandalorian Season 2, a lot of Star Wars fans are eager to see the live-action debut for fan-favorites Ahsoka Tano and Captain Rex. What’s interesting is, it’s possible that the series could also give us live-action Ezra Bridger from Star Wars Rebels.
Rahul Kohli (iZombie) had started messing with fans when he posted this on Twitter:
I’ve gotten into that Lothal orphan, force sensitive, trained by Kanan Jarrus kind of shape. For no particular reason.

While nothing official has been confirmed, Kohli has also been posting a lot about Star Wars on his feed. When it came to him addressing the first post, he came up with this video featuring The Mandalorian music and winking at the camera:

You’d think that if Kohli was cast, he would have had to sign NDAs to make sure nothing was revealed. At this point, I think Kohli might be considered for the part, and this is kind of his bid at getting fans to show their support that they want him to play the part. Even the casting of Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano also started as a fancast. You can’t blame Kohli for trying.
For now, we don’t know if Ezra would really make an appearance in The Mandalorian. For now, his fate is pretty much up in the air, along with Grand Admiral Thrawn. Hopefully Ahsoka has found him by the time The Mandalorian rolls around, but I would also be fine if he would debut in the Ahsoka spinoff series which is said to be in development.
For now, catch The Mandalorian Season 2 on Disney+ this coming Oct. 30.
