A lot of fans are excited for The Flash to finally get his solo movie, but the film has also been hard at promoting the return of Michael Keaton as Batman. WB has released a featurette giving us a behind-the-scenes look at Keaton’s Dark Knight and as well as his Batcave.
Check this out:
While I imagine that Keaton is re-living the plot of Birdman by returning for this movie, it’s kind of a neat story that he allegedly filmed the Batcave to send to Tim Burton, the director of his Batman movies. We don’t know what Burton has to say about the movie yet, but based on critic reviews and everyone else who’s seen the movie, this looks to be one of the best superhero films to come out of DC.
In fact, it’s so good that it managed to keep Ezra Miller from getting permanently cancelled online—and not for lack of trying.
I’m just hoping for a good movie, and a proper sendoff to the Snyderverse. While it’s a shame we never got to see it completed, I’m just eager to push forward with the universe without it having to go back to zero.
Worlds collide when the Flash uses his superpowers to travel back in time to change the events of the past. However, when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, he becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation. With no other superheroes to turn to, the Flash looks to coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian — albeit not the one he’s looking for.
The Flash speeds into theaters on June 16.
