The game is set to come out this September, and we have new gameplay trailer that showcases one of the most beloved 80s movie icons. Check this out:

Only RoboCop can clean up the crime-ridden streets of Old Detroit!

Though futuristic shooters are a dime-a-dozen these days, Rogue City promises to set itself apart by focusing on the titular character of RoboCop. RoboCop may not be as agile as V from Night City or Master Chief from Halo, but they’ve designed him to act like a walking tank, and he can lumber around levels taking out crooks with AI-enhanced precision.

Not to mention, officer Murphy also comes with an array of gadgets and all the other bells and whistles that comes with being a cybernetic cop. Fans of the movie will also love all the retro-style graphics to really give the experience that you’re playing RoboCop from the very same era he originated.

Too bad the 2014 film didn’t really take off, because I thought a lot of concepts in that movie were actually pretty fantastic. Just add more violence and keep the silver suit; and I’m sure a lot of fans would have loved the film.

RoboCop: Rogue City is set to release for PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC this coming September.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum Game Gets Cinematic Trailer https://www.geekfeed.com/the-lord-of-the-rings-gollum-game-gets-cinematic-trailer/ Wed, 15 Dec 2021 07:12:47 +0000 https://www.geekfeed.com/?p=62907 Tolkien fans can’t wait to get their first preview for Amazon’s Lord of the Rings series, but Daedalic Entertainment and Nacon have an upcoming game that will bring us right back to Middle-Earth with LOTR: Gollum.

The Game Awards 2021 has brought us a new trailer, and we get a cinematic which teases what we can expect out of the Gollum game. Watch this:

Here’s the gameplay description:

Use stealth, agility, and cunning to survive and overcome what lies ahead. Climb, leap, and grapple your way past dangers or onto advantageous spots. While Gollum might not be a fighter, it is not unlike him to assassinate a careless enemy when the chance presents itself – or dispose of them in more creative and… villainous ways.

Though the cinematic only features Gollum, previous trailers for the title have revealed character models for Gandalf and Thranduil (of Mirkwood). While I’m not expecting the game to follow Smeagol when he’s finally leading Frodo to Mordor, it’s possible the story could follow him during the timeline of Fellowship, after Smeagol is captured by orcs for information on Bilbo, then imprisoned in Mirkwood by the elves.

Gollum is probably the last character fans would think would get his own video game, but this does offer an opportunity for Daedalic to surprise us. If Shadow of Mordor could wow fans without any LOTR characters, than so can Gollum.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is set to come out for the PS5|PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch sometime in 2022.
