Just in, the blooper reel for the fourth season of Sex Ed has been released, and it will probably be the last time we see all of the cast together. Watch this:

Did someone say BLOOPERS?! The best (and hilarious) Sex Education Season 4 bloopers are finally here, featuring all of your faves.

Though the show had ended in a place which makes sense for a lot of the characters, there are admittedly some fans that felt that the final season of the series was a tad lackluster.

Not only did they not manage to bring back fan-favorites like Lily (Tanya Reynolds), Ola (Patricia Allison), and Olivia (Simon Ashley), but the last season also took place in an entirely different setting from Moordale, which was shut down in Season 3. Instead, we had Cavendish College, an overly progressive school with a cartoonishly ‘woke’ student body

Even so, I thought that all of the main characters still had their arcs meaningfully closed, with Aimee embracing art and moving past her trauma and Eric reconciling both his gay lifestyle with his religious one. Of course, at the very center is also Otis and Maeve who were together for only a short while, but their relationship is at the very core of the show.

Hopefully we get some kind of reunion movie down the line.

Get Ready for One Last Lesson with New Poster for Final Season of Sex Education https://www.geekfeed.com/new-poster-for-final-season-of-sex-education/ Fri, 01 Sep 2023 06:10:22 +0000 https://www.geekfeed.com/?p=78510 Netflix’s Sex Education had premiered back in 2019, and now the show is gearing up for its fourth and final season. The series is set to premiere this September, and we have a new silly poster having the students of Moordale showing their ‘O’ faces.

Check this out:

We don’t know exactly what kind of arc to expect with the final season of Sex Education, but it’s possible that Otis would finally be opening up to the school about him being a sex therapist. Like with every show set in a high school, we should also expect the series to end with everyone going off to college and leaving their high school days behind.

On another note, the series has been teasing the on-and-off relationship between Otis and Maeve for three seasons, and though the two did have a chance to be together, the series did let Maeve go to study abroad with Otis promising to wait for her.

With this being the final season and all, we should hope that fans would finally get Otis and Maeve ending up together after all this tension; but then again, I wouldn’t be surprised if the showrunners manage to find a way to really milk the romance and just have them fully come together by the end.

Then again, that’s just me speculating.

Watch out for the final season of Sex Education when it premieres on Netflix on Sept. 21.

Sex Education: Emma Mackey Says Season 4 will be Her Last https://www.geekfeed.com/sex-education-emma-mackey-season-4-her-last/ Tue, 21 Feb 2023 00:22:16 +0000 https://www.geekfeed.com/?p=73485 If Netflix’s Big Mouth isn’t really your thing, maybe you can get your coming-of-age/educational drama with Sex Education. The fourth season is currently in the works, but one star says it could be her last.

During a press interview (via RadioTimes), Emma Mackey, who plays Maeve in the show, has confirmed that the fourth season will be her last. When asked if she would be back for a fifth season, Mackey said, “Season 5? I’ve just finished the fourth one last week!… No, I don’t think I’ll be in season 5. I’ve said goodbye to Maeve.”

The last season had Maeve going off to America, which was kind of a shame for fans since things were finally opening up for her to be with Otis. With the fourth season expecting to finally have them be together, Mackey goes on to say that she actually has a reduced role. She explains, “…it’s a bit more sporadic because we have more characters. So there’s… I’m not in it as consistently.”

With Mackey gone, and co-star Ncuti Gatwa also moving on to Doctor Who, a lot of fans have speculated that this means that the show is actually going to end with the fourth season. With the series having been very extensive when it comes to covering everything it could about sexuality from gender identity to asexuality, I think a fourth season would be a good place to end.

Besides, it would be sad to just keep going knowing that kay characters (and fan-favorites) like Eric and Maeve won’t be around anymore.

Sex Education 4 has no official release date, but you can check out the first three seasons on Netflix.

Sex Education Season 3 Gets First Look and Release Date https://www.geekfeed.com/sex-education-season-3-gets-first-look-and-release-date/ Sun, 27 Jun 2021 20:14:51 +0000 https://www.geekfeed.com/?p=60243 Netflix’s Sex Education was able to get production moving mid-pandemic last September, and now the third season is ready to premiere a year later.

Just in, Netflix has given us our first look at Sex Education 3 and has confirmed the release date of September 17. Here’s the post:

We don’t have an official breakdown of the story yet, but casting news from before has confirmed that Moordale will be getting a new principal—one who is likely more uptight than Mr. Groff. By the looks of it, this new principal Hope (Jemima Kirke) is the one behind these new unforms, and she will likely clash with the students when it comes to their ‘sex education.’

Besides Kirke, the show will also include new cast mates Jason Isaacs and Dua Saleh. Isaacs will be playing the older brother of Mr. Groff who has separated from his wife; and Saleh will be playing a new student Cal who is nonbinary; they are expected to clash with Principal Hope and it’s likely they will have a new dynamic when it comes to the kids of Moordale.

We don’t know for how long Netflix plans to run Sex Education, but the characters are very much endearing, and it’s a great way to introduce kids into sex positivity. Hopefully Laurie Nunn will be allowed to complete her story, unlike GLOW which was cancelled mid-production of the final season.

Catch Sex Education Season 3 when it returns to Netflix on Sept. 17.
