Walton Goggins Marks the Start of Production for Fallout Season 2

A lot of fans were worried that Amazon didn’t have enough faith on the Fallout series when they released the whole season in one day; but the show ended up a huge hit, and everyone can’t wait for the next season.

While we barely have any official updates from Prime Video, series co-lead Walton Goggins (The Ghoul) has shared on his IG that the show is now back in production. Here’s his post:

The caption reads: “Back in the saddle… #Deux. Gatdamn it feels good to slip on this skin. I do this shit for the love of the Game.”

Though the Ghoul acts as a semi-antagonist for Lucy in the series, the finale had the two teaming up so they can hunt down her dad, who has fled to New Vegas. As for the third lead character Maximus, it’s implied that he’s finally gotten the respect of the Brotherhood of Steel, and he could be in a higher-up position come next season.

As far as video game adaptations go, Fallout was considered one of the best to come out in recent years. The series may not be as dark as The Last of Us, but it does embrace the ironic quirkiness of the original franchise. Though everyone is living in an apocalyptic wasteland, there’s still plenty of room for shenanigans and very twisted social experiments.

We can only hope the next season is going to be as great as the first.

No release date has been set for Fallout Season 2, but fans are hoping we get a premiere sometime later in 2026.
