6. Kylo Ren is a Double Agent
This theory is pretty self explanatory, but it has some interesting elements to it.
Essentially, Kylo is undercover in an attempt to get closer to Supreme Leader Snoke in order to assassinate him. This would mean that Kylo’s betrayal of Luke Skywalker was all an act. Furthermore, the theory states that The Knights of Ren are actually Luke’s missing padawans, waiting in hiding to strike for the Resistance.
This is all well and good, but Kylo killed his father Han Solo in cold blood, so how could he possibly be a double agent? According to the theory, Han’s death would also part of the plan. In order to convince Snoke that Kylo had fallen completely to the darkness, it was necessary for him to eliminate his father, Han Solo. This means Kylo has gone through some pretty extreme lengths and done some terrible things to complete his mission, some of which quite frankly seems unlikely.
