Ever since it was confirmed to be in development, fans have been waiting for the official reveal of the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order sequel. Though Star Wars Day has come and gone with nothing, some leaks have come out online revealing the title of Cal Kestis’ next adventure.
According to Grubbsnax (and also confirmed by Bespin Bulletin), the title of the Fallen Order sequel is Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Like I said, it’s not been officially revealed yet, but the title kind of makes sense for the story, seeing that Cal is generally a survivor, first surviving the Jedi Purge, and then surviving an encounter with the OG Jedi killer, Darth Vader.
We don’t know what kind of story we should expect with Survivor, but the first game did end with Cal gaining a Holocron that revealed the location of Force-sensitive children. The story usually goes that a Jedi will try and re-establish a new Jedi Order, but it’s possible that Cal could be sowing steps for an eventual meet-up with characters like Obi-Wan Kenobi or Yoda—who are both probably on the lookout for other surviving Jedi.
Personally, I just want more gameplay options when it comes to the sequel. It would be great if we could fight alongside Merrin or Cere, and even control some of their moves a la Guardians of the Galaxy. How about some ship-driving scenes with Greez?
No release date has been set for Survivor (nor has it been officially announced), but you can play Star Wars: Fallen Order now available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4|5, and PC.
