Spider-Man: No Way Home Concept Art Reveals Upgraded Goblin Glider

Spider-Man: No Way Home had brought together 20-years-worth of Spider-Man history, and the film managed to cement Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin was one of the all-time best (or rather worst) Spidey villains. While he was sporting a new look for the movie, some concept art reveals he would have had a much more updated Goblin Glider.

Check out this concept art which reveals Osborn would have made an upgraded glider from some Mysterio drones, and he would have mounted the Goblin helmet on the craft—an homage to the classic Goblin Glider from the comics:

We don’t know why the concept was dropped, but probably because there was no place in the story to squeeze in Norman making a new glider. We should also remember that he destroyed the Goblin helmet earlier in the movie.

For now, the future of Spider-Man’s villains in the MCU is up in the air, seeing that it has been established in No Way Home that there was no Oscorp. Though I would have loved a new take on Osborn, it was great how they managed to have Dafoe’s Goblin terrorize Tom Holland’s Peter Parker as well. Maybe they can have Oscorp be some kind of biotechnology start-up? There’s probably several ways to approach the idea. I just want Holland’s Spider-Man to have his own filled up roster as well.

You think we’ll immediately get the Venom clash in the next film? We’ll just have to wait and see.

Catch Spider-Man: No Way Home when it hits digital March 15 and Blu-Ray/4K UHD on April 12.
