Solo: A Star Wars Story was filled with great appearances from classic Star Wars characters, but no one was ready for the return of Darth Maul as the true leader of the Crimson Dawn syndicate. Apparently, some people have been calling Maul in the film out of shape, and Ray Park has decided to fire back at them on Instagram.

If anything, the most noticeable thing about Maul’s appearance was his aged look; I wouldn’t have even thought twice to call Park out of shape in the scene. It’s kind of amazing that he even had to do all that training just for a few seconds of screentime. Nevertheless, people are happy to see him back, and can’t wait to have Maul appear in more Star Wars stories.
Solo ended with a teaser of Han and Chewbacca going out to look for a job with Jabba the Hutt, which opens a lot of opportunities for fun cameos. Personally, I wanted to see Greedo during his days as a bounty hunter. Maybe we could even have Han and Boba Fett face off.
Solo: A Star Wars Story is set to hit digital this coming Sept. 14.
