Season 2 Premiere Date Announced for Apple TV’s Severance

Adam Scott may be best known for his comedic roles in series like Parks and Recreation, but he’s proven himself to be quite the dramatic actor with Apple TV’s Severance.

Fans have been waiting a while for the second season, and now we have an official announcement for the premiere date. Check this out:

As per the announcement, Season 2 of the show returns to Apple TV on January 17, 2025. The trailer doesn’t really show much, but we should expect to see more in the coming previews closer to the release of the second season.

Here’s the official logline for the next season:

In season two, Mark and his friends learn the dire consequences of trifling with the severance barrier, leading them further down a path of woe.

Severance has been getting a lot of buzz lately ever since it dropped, and you can expect the interest to just keep growing until the release of Season 2. With the first season ending with such a huge cliffhanger, it’s probably best to jump into the series now as the wait is way shorter compared to audiences who checked out the show around the time that it came out.

Here’s the series premise:

In Severance, Mark Scout (Adam Scott) leads a team at Lumon Industries, whose employees have undergone a severance procedure, which surgically divides their memories between their work and personal lives. This daring experiment in “work-life balance” is called into question as Mark finds himself at the center of an unraveling mystery that will force him to confront the true nature of his work… and of himself.

Severance Season 2 comes to Apple TV+ on Jan. 17, 2025.
