Since the Coronavirus has forced people to stay home and isolate themselves, multiple celebrities have taken to social media to release messages of hope and reminders to have everyone stay indoors. Ryan Reynolds has also released his own PSA, but this time, it feels like he’s mocking all of his peers for being self-important at a time of crisis.
Here’s the post:
Another important message from an important celebrity. Let’s spread the word not the virus. I happily nominate, @stevenpage @Sethrogen and @TerryR49776917 #PlankTheCurve #StayAtHomeSaveLives pic.twitter.com/IRJNI9Y6G9

It’s no mystery that the imposed quarantine is getting to a lot of people, and celebrities have been getting a lot of flak for their behavior during a crisis. Evangeline Lilly, who refuses to self-isolate, has been bashed for endangering her kids; and Vanessa Hudgens went on some drunken rant about people dying being ‘inevitable’. Even Gal Gadot, who, among other celebrities, got negative reactions for doing a cover of John Lennon’s Imagine in an attempt to keep everyone’s spirits up.
Needless to say, Reynolds isn’t stopping with his PSA. He’s also promised to donate 30 percent of proceeds of his Aviation Gin to bartenders who have found themselves out of work because of the pandemic. Besides reminding everyone to wash their hands, I think it’s important to think of people who have lost jobs because of COVID-19.
Until May 1st, for every bottle of Aviation ordered online, we’ll donate 30% of proceeds as a tip to your bartenders – who REALLY miss you btw. Visit https://t.co/elT2zrCgE0 #TipYourBartenders #StayHomeSaveLives pic.twitter.com/77tVacDGBM

In Twentieth Century Fox’s epic adventure-comedy “Free Guy,” a bank teller who discovers he is actually a background player in an open-world video game, decides to become the hero of his own story…one he rewrites himself. Now in a world where there are no limits, he is determined to be the guy who saves his world his way…before it is too late.
For now, Reynolds is set to star in this fun film called Free Guy, and so far, the release is still slated for July 3. Let’s hope everything is back to normal by then.
