It looks like the rumors are true. After years of waiting on the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, fans can now rest easy knowing that the premiere is coming in a few months.
As officially announced by Lucasfilm, Obi-Wan Kenobi comes to Disney+ on May 25, and we even get a new poster of the old Jedi master on the sands of Tatooine:

No official story has been revealed for the series, but we do know that Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen will be reprising their roles as Obi-Wan and Anakin (or rather, Darth Vader), and the series takes place between the events of A New Hope and Revenge of the Sith.
Other cast members returning include Joel Edgerton and Bonnie Piesse who’ll be reprising their roles as the Larses from the prequels. Newcomers to Star Wars include Benny Safdie, Maya Erskine, Kumail Nanjiani, and O’Shea Jackson Jr. None of their roles of have been confirmed yet, but we do expect some of them to be a mix of Imperials and space scoundrels, all who will run into Obi-Wan in his all-new journey.
Admittedly, The Book of Boba Fett kind of ended up lackluster, and forgot about its main character in the episodes before the finale. With Obi-Wan being a more well-rounded figure, fans are hoping that Deborah Chow has something more interesting to say about his story rather than a weekly chapter of action and fanservice.
