Emilia Clarke’s Qi’ra was set-up to have her own arc in Solo: A Star Wars Story, but the movie managed to underpeform, and her character’s fate was left up in the air. With the recent reveal of Star Wars Outlaws from Ubisoft though, it has been confirmed that Han Solo’s first love is gearing for a comeback.
According to GameInformer (via @CultureCrave), Lady Qi’ra is expected to run into the game’s protaginist Kay Vell, as one of the main figures of the Crimson Dawn syndicate. We don’t know what exactly her stand will be around in this time, but we do know in Rebels that Maul is already dead by the timeline of this game—which is set between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.

Though she started out as an urchin in Solo, Qi’ra eventually worked her way up the ranks of Crimson Dawn, working directly under Maul. We don’t know what her journey has been since, but they did manage to expand her story via the comics. So far, her role in the galaxy is still pretty much up in the air.

Besides Crimson Dawn, Outlaws is also said to be featuring more syndicates in the Star Wars universe, both old and new. We have the Hutt Cartel and the Pyke Syndicate, plus a new hive mind clan called the Ashiga who are said to be based in the world of Kijimi (introduced in The Rise of Skywalker).
Personally, I’m still holding out for a Qi’ra and Han reunion in live-action, but for now, I guess Outlaws is the next best thing we have.
Star Wars Outlaws launches on Aug. 30 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
