Possible Details of Flashback Scene from Obi-Wan Kenobi

We know that Disney+’s Obi-Wan Kenobi series is set to take place after the events of Revenge of the Sith, but fans are already expecting some kind of flashback, maybe sometime during the Clone Wars. Now rumor is going around that reveals some details of a flashback in the series, and it has something to do with Obi-Wan (Ewan McGregor) and Anakin (Hayden Christensen).

Be warned, it’s possible this could be a spoiler.

According to Making Star Wars, Vader and Kenobi will clash more than once in the series, and in the first round, things don’t go so well for Kenobi. As per the site, Kenobi is forced to regroup after his battle with Vader, and we get a flashback with a young Anakin and Obi-Wan (with de-aged actors) sparring in the Jedi temple, and Obi-Wan uses this memory to remember how to beat his former apprentice.

It’s very likely the Kenobi scene could happen, and it would be a great character moment to see the two actually being close. While fans have known for a while the history between the two characters, it’s always great to visualize the relationship, especially with audience members who aren’t familiar with the lore. This was kind of what I wanted with Cad Bane and The Book of Boba Fett; if he was so essential to Boba’s story, we should have met him before his appearance near the finale. I know the fans loved it, but there was just no narrative room for Mando and Luke Skywalker.

Going back to Kenobi though, fans are excited for the ‘rematch of the century’ between Obi-Wan and Anakin. Catch Obi-Wan Kenobi when it premieres on Disney+ on May 25.
