A lot of fans have been excited to see new Spider-Man villains like Kraven and Lizard in Spider-Man 2, but the central big bad for the game is definitely the new Venom who may or may not be Eddie Brock.
With the game set to launch this month, we have a new cinematic trailer for Spider-Man 2 which have Peter and Miles taking on Venom. Check this out:
We don’t really have a good handle at the story yet, but we do have some updates from the last game, including Miles’ own evolution into Spider-Man, as well as the death of May Parker. It’s unclear who Venom is going to be yet, but a lot of fans are almost sure that he’s going to be Harry Osborn, who was revealed to have been secretly alive by the end of the first game.
Besides that, we also have some more hints at Peter and Miles’ abilities in the game. We know Peter’s usual Spider-Man kit, but it has been revealed that he does have his mechanical claws to help him fight now. The trailer also showcases all of Miles’ powers, including his electric abilities, as well as his power to turn invisible.
With Spider-Man 2 being exclusive to a new-gen console, a lot of fans are expecting the ante to definitely be upped when it comes to quality for Spider-Man 2. Hopefully they also managed to add some more variety to missions because collecting hidden backpacks gets kind of old.
