The first season of Oshi No Ko had covered multiple arcs from the manga, ending with the first concert arc, and now the series is set to come back with Aqua and a lot of budding young celebrities.
The second season is expected to get into the Stage Play arc of the manga, and we have our first look. Check this out:

The curtain rises on a new stage──
Rehearsals have begun for the popular manga “Tokyo Blade”.
Surrounded by the actors of the Lala-rai theater company, it looks like she’ll make a big leap forward.
While recognizing Kana’s talent, Akane feels a burning rivalry.
While the group is filled with talented and passionate actors, Aqua uses his acting skills to continue his quest for the truth behind Ai’s death.
And as for Ruby, she continues to follow in her mother’s footsteps as an idol…
With the first season of the series able to cover four major arcs of the manga, we should expect more or less the same number of coverage from the second season. Besides finding out the inner workings of a celebrity play, several arcs down the line continue to explore the identity of Aqua and Ruby’s father, as well as the scandal surrounding Ai’s (and Aqua’s) death.
You have to hand it to Oshi No Ko for not being a typical anime when it comes to story. At first you think that it’s a comedy that will draw give a look at the workings of the idol industry, but you’ll realize that the plot is full or murder and mystery, plus there’s a whole lot of fantastic drama from the characters.
And you also get to learn about the inner-workings of the Japanese celebrity industry. This show has everything.
