A lot of Dune fans are still prickly that the sequel would have come out by now if it wasn’t delayed, but Timothee Chalamet is set to star in something a lot less depressing with the upcoming Wonka prequel.
The trailers have been nothing short of colorful, but we also have a new poster that screams all kinds of candy and colors. Check this out:

Besides Chalamet’s new, younger Willy Wonka, we also have a look at Hugh Grant who plays an Oompa Loompa. It’s not sure if he’s going to be playing all of them like Deep Roy did in the Tim Burton movie, but he does seem a lot smaller than the Oompa Loompas from the original Wonka movie with Gene Wilder.
At the back we have a look at Calah Lane’s Noodle, who looks to be this movie’s version of Charlie Bucket, who is just there to be amazed at what Wonka can create. Even further back looks like the ‘Chocolate Mafia’ that Wonka will have to overthrow in the film.
A lot of people were skeptical about a Wonka movie at first, but with Paul King at the helm and the surprise success of the Paddington movies, maybe Wonka will manage to surprise everyone in the theater this holiday season.
Based on the extraordinary character at the center of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Roald Dahl’s most iconic children’s book and one of the best-selling children’s books of all time, “Wonka” tells the wondrous story of how the world’s greatest inventor, magician and chocolate-maker became the beloved Willy Wonka we know today.
Catch Wonka in theaters on Dec. 15.
