We’re already in the final weeks of January, and fans are getting closer to the release of Captain America: Brave New World. A lot of fans have been worried when it comes to the movie and its several delays, but Marvel is now slowly building the hype train for Sam Wilson’s first official outing as Captain America.

While this is supposed to be Sam’s first outing as Captain America, it does seem like the marketing has been shifting the focus to Harrison Ford playing the Red Hulk. While it is impressive that the character of Ross is going to be used on a larger scale, it’s kind of a bummer to think that Mackie is getting sidelined in his own movie.
If anything, some fans are trying to remain cautiously optimistic about the film. Sure the movie is completely different from what they set out to make, but it has been said that this one has tested better with audiences. Rogue One is considered to be a fan-favorite of the Disney Star Wars era, but even that film was plagued with reshoots and rewrites that a lot of fans consider to have actually made the movie better.
Maybe fans will just have to wait and see until February to find out if all the waiting has been worth it. I thought the characterization of Sam Wilson without Steve Rogers is still solid, and I’m eager to see him take center stage this time around.
Captain America: Brave New World hits theatres on Feb. 14.
