It’s been more than a decade since the release of the Puss in Boots spinoff, but Dreamworks is ready to come back to the world of Shrek in this Christmas’ Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. The film is filled with all sorts of fairy tale icons, and we have a new clip featuring Florence Pugh’s Goldilocks and the Three Bears.

We don’t know exactly why Goldilocks would want the wishing star for, but it seems that they’ve written her and the Three Bears into some kind of bounty hunter group. It’s even fun that they have Goldilocks be very particular in getting things ‘just right.’
Besides the Three Bears, the film will also feature the Big Bad Wolf and ‘Big’ Jack Horner (from Jack in the Beanstalk) as villains. Would it be too much to ask to have Shrek, Fiona, and Donkey cameo in the film?

For the first time in more than a decade, DreamWorks Animation presents a new adventure in the Shrek universe as daring outlaw Puss in Boots discovers that his passion for peril and disregard for safety have taken their toll. Puss has burned through eight of his nine lives, though he lost count along the way. Getting those lives back will send Puss in Boots on his grandest quest yet.
Puss in Boots: The Last Wish comes to cinemas on Dec. 21.
