Netflix found gold with GLOW, and after a spectacular second season, it’s been announced that the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling have been ordered for a third one.
Here’s the official announcement:

The show has managed to amass several nominations over its run, getting nominated for six Emmys including Best Supporting Actress and Outstanding Comedy Series. Lead star Alison Brie has also received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Comedy Series.
If you haven’t checked it out, the series is loosely based on the true story of the making of a wrestling variety show of the same name. The characters in GLOW aren’t real, but they’re all based on real characters and also follow the same story of the girls moving from TV to becoming live performers in Las Vegas.
I absolutely love this show. Alison Brie absolutely nails her performance as Ruth Wilder/Zoya the Destroya, and she’s backed by a fantastic cast of very well-written and likeable characters. Not to mention supporting actress Betty Gilpin is also fantastic—after all, she was the one who got nominated for an Emmy.
No release date has been set for GLOW 3, but I think it’s likely that we would get it sometime next year.
