As promised, Sony has finally given us our first look at Spider-Man: Far from Home, but what we didn’t know is that they would be releasing two whole trailers!
Check them out:
The main difference between the two is that both have different intros and choice of music. The International trailer also had some of the language changed with Flash’s “Dickwad” insult turned into the more generic “Loser”.
Either way, the trailer pretty much plays out the same with the reveal of Nick Fury. We get a look at the rumored Elementals and we also get to see Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio, fish bowl head and all.
By the looks of the teaser, Mysterio is some kind of hero who will be fighting against the Elementals like Spider-Man is. Anyone who’s read the comics knows that he’s a villain though, and they suspect that it was Mysterio this whole time who was behind the Elementals in the first place. It’s pretty much like Syndrome and his Omnidroid from the first Incredibles movie.
Peter Parker returns in Spider-Man: Far From Home, the next chapter of the Spider-Man: Homecoming series! Our friendly neighborhood Super Hero decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation. However, Peter’s plan to leave super heroics behind for a few weeks are quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks, creating havoc across the continent!
Spider-Man: Far from Home hits theaters July 5.
