Marvel Rivals is gearing up for the arrival of the Fantastic Four for Season 1, and the first two heroes dropping will be power couple Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic and Sue Storm/Invisible Woman. Just in, two new ability showcases have been dropped for both characters and it showcases just how useful they can be in the battlefield.
Here’s the breakdown for Mr. Fantastic (Duelist):
Though he’s classified as a Duelist, a lot of Marvel Rivals players note that Mr. Fantastic’s kit actually makes him a very versatile hero, with some abilities giving him traits that are closer to being a Vanguard. If anything, his Inflated form and power set have reminded other players of One Piece hero Monkey D. Luffy.
As for the Invisible Woman (Strategist), here’s what she can do:
For Sue Storm’s kit, it was obvious that she was going to turn invisible, but her Force Fields actually have a lot of utility in the game, being able to create AOEs that damage enemies inside them, plus she can also pull or knockback enemies as well.
Her ultimate is pretty interesting in that it creates an area that heals teammates and makes them invisible. That being said, they can still be damaged, but it is a nice twist to the Invisible Woman’s skillset.
Why can’t Sombra do anything that useful?
Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Woman come to Marvel Rivals on Jan. 10. The game is now playable for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC.
