Marvel is currently gearing up for the release of WandaVision this weekend on Disney+, and people like Kevin Feige are making the press rounds. With rumors going around that Charlie Cox’s Daredevil will be coming to the MCU soon, Feige was asked about it, and he fell awkwardly silent.

This was Feige’s reaction while talking to Collider:

You can probably read Feige’s reaction how you will. Some are choosing to go the optimistic route and say that Feige is trying to keep the whole thing a secret, and that’s why he didn’t answer; but at the same time, you could also say that he’s tired of getting asked about when the Marvel Netflix heroes are coming to the MCU.

If anything, the rights to Daredevil had reverted back to Marvel last November, and they could pretty much do what they want with the character moving forward. While a total reboot of the character is possible, some believe that the best route would be to just keep Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock and just cherry pick some of the things from the Netflix show. Maybe they could just explain that the Defenders timeline took place in an alternate universe. They could pretty much set it all up with Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness.

We don’t know if Matt Murdock will ever come to the MCU soon, but you can catch the launch of MCU Phase 4 with WandaVision which debuts on Disney+ this Jan. 15.
