It will be a while before we get the next Thor film, but Chris Hemsworth has teamed up with auteur director George Miller for a prequel to Mad Max in the form of Furiosa.
Hemsworth plays the lead villain Dementus, and we have a new look at him and a funky post-apocalyptic motorcycle. Check this out:

We don’t know exactlt what Dementus’ deal is in the movie, but as per the official synopsis, it’s his Biker Horde that kidnaps Furiosa from her home of the Green Place of Many Mothers. Since Fury Road had Furiosa already working for Immortan Joe, we’re going to be seeing Dementus go head to head with that warlord together with his group of fanatic War Boys.
With Hemsworth being a pretty recognizable star, it’s curious why they would decide to give him a fake nose for his role here. Maybe Miller just wanted everyone to focus on the performance rather than get distracted that the god of Thunder is now in the middle of the Wasteland leading a group of biker pirates.
As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.
Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is expected to release in theaters on May 24.
