LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was originally announced back in 2019, and while a lot of people thought it would release alongside The Rise of Skywalker, it was nowhere to be found. We have barely gotten any major updates on the game since, but now WB Games has dropped a new trailer and a release window… sometime in 2021.

First off, here’s the trailer:

While no specific release date has been announced, we do get the confirmation that the game is looking to launch in the spring of 2021. We don’t know what the reason for the delay is, but I’m guessing it has something to do with LEGO Star Wars coming out for the Xbox Series X and PS5 as well.

By the looks of it, the game actually looks like a good bit of fun, and it looks like they’re going to try and cram almost everything they can from the films—you can even play as Yaddle. With the original LEGO Star Wars games already renowned for its wide roster of characters and world, you can bet that fans are expecting everything to be cranked up to 11 when it comes to this current/next-gen reboot of the title.

Play through all nine Star Wars™ saga films in a brand-new LEGO video game unlike any other. Experience fun-filled adventures, whimsical humor, and the freedom to fully immerse yourself in the LEGO Star Wars universe like never before.

No specific release date has been announced for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, but the game launches in the spring of 2021 for the PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
