We’re not sure when we’re going to see Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn again, but we are seeing an alternate version of her played by Lady Gaga in the upcoming sequel, Joker: Folie a Deux. The movie is set to come out this October, and we have our first poster shared by Gaga herself.

Admittedly, it doesn’t give off much of the plot, but we do have the two main characters Joker (Joaquin Phoenix) and Harley (Gaga) in the spotlight. We also have the tagline “The World is a Stage” which we haven’t gotten from any of the promos that have come before.
So far, reception has been positive, but some have teased the poster for seeming too much like a bad fan edit.

With the release set for October, it’s possible that we could get our first trailer for Folie a Deux in June; but with the hype surrounding the first movie, maybe we could get some kind of teaser as early as this month.
We don’t know exactly what to expect from the film, but it has been said that the movie will be a ‘jukebox musical’ that will feature covers of well-known songs. A rumor is also going around that Gaga’s Harley will be an inmate at Arkham rather than a doctor that goes crazy.
It’s a major element of her character, but seeing as how Joker shook things up for the Clown Prince of Crime, maybe they would do the same for Harley in this one? We’ll just have to wait and see.
