Back when the ‘Wednesday Dance’ went viral in 2022, edits of Jenna Ortega dancing in the show included the music of Lady Gaga—specifically a remix of her Bloody Mary. The meme was repeated by millions, and it looks like the show is ready to reward fans with a crazy crossover.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the second season of Wednesday has added Lady Gaga to the cast. No explanation has been explained as to the size of Gaga’s role in the show, but it’s definitely a guest role that was meant for the show, seeing that Gaga’s brand of monstrous fashion fits right into the world of Wednesday.
If I were to make a guess, it’s possible that Gaga could just be playing a musical number in another dance scene, but if they really wanted her to make an impact, maybe they can include her as a member of the Addams Family. She may be too young to play Grandma Addams, but I can imagine her playing a secret role in the form of Cousin Itt who looks weird enough for Gaga to add some kind of twist to the character.
Originally Itt was a male in the Addams lore, but I can see them retooling the character to be someone with hair long enough to cover their whole body.
No release date has been set for the next season of Wednesday, but fans are hoping for a 2025 premiere.
