Nebula was a character that got a lot of major growth in Avengers: Endgame, and she’s set to return with the Guardians in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. The film is currently in production, and Karen Gillan has given us a little (battle-damaged) Nebula tease.

Though Nebula may have started out as an enemy, she has slowly worked herself into the Guardians roster, and with the search for Gamora being on, their connection will be something integral to the emotional arc of the story.
For now, director James Gunn has said that this third movie will complete the arcs of this iteration of the Guardians, and this will be the last time that we’ll be seeing this team together. Even if that is the case, the Guardians have had several members join them throughout the history of the comics, so even if this means the end for the team members, that doesn’t necessarily mean we’re saying good-bye to the team.
With a release set for May next year, it could be a while before we get to see a trailer for GOTG 3. Then again, we are getting a holiday special on Disney+. My guess is we would get a teaser around October nearing the holiday season, but maybe Doctor Strange 2 has a few more reveals up its sleeve.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is set to hit theaters on May 23, 2023.
