Ant-Man has mostly kept his solo adventures grounded in Earth, but it’s time for him and his family to enter the Quantum Realm with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. The film is set to come out this February, and we finally have our first trailer featuring Jonathan Majors’ Kang the Conqueror.
Watch the new Antman trailer down here:
While both Ant-Man films had featured Scott Lang going on elaborate heists on Earth, this jump into the Quantum Realm feels a lot like Guardians of the Galaxy, with Lang and his family running into all kinds of kooky creatures (and Bill Murray).
Of course, the big bad of the movie also makes an appearance in the form of Jonathan Majors’ Kang the Conqueror. We don’t really know what his deal with Scott is, but there is a rumor going around that Kang will be forcing Scott to steal something for him—after all, heists are all about Scott’s thing for two films already, and it probably won’t feel like an Ant-Man movie without one.
One character we don’t get to see though, is MODOK, who is finally going to make his first live-action appearance in this film. It has been said that MODOK will be played by Corey Stoll in this film as a kind of rehash of his character from the first Ant-Man movie, but we’ll just have to wait and see what happens in the actual film.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania comes to theaters on Feb. 17, 2023.
