We’ve known for a while that Zack Snyder wanted John Stewart’s Green Lantern to appear in his cut of Justice League, but he ended up compromising with the studio and brought back Martian Manhunter instead. It had been revealed that he shot the GL scene with actor Wayne T. Carr, and now Carr and Snyder have shared photos of them shooting that scene.

Here’s a wide shot further proving that they just shot the part on a drive way:
It wasn’t a dream!

While we don’t get a look at Snyder’s design for a GL costume, I guess the closest thing we have to a final look is Carr’s haircut. While I don’t think the scene will ever be released, it would have been interesting to see how Carr read for the part.
I have to hand it to Snyder and his team. He really cast some unique and unlikely actors for his DC heroes, and I would have loved to see how Carr’s Green Lantern would have looked onscreen. WB is probably fixing to bring another actor in for the John Stewart role, but now that Carr is getting all this support from the Snyder fans, it’s very likely they’ll consider him for the part—unless they want to face even more backlash. First #ReleaseTheSnyderCut, then #ReleaseTheAyerCut, and now #RestoreTheSnyderverse; when does it end?
While Carr’s not in it, you can catch Zack Snyder’s Justice League now available on HBO Max.
