Production for Jurassic World: Dominion had started back in February, but production had gone to a halt thanks to something called COVID-19. With everyone stuck at home, and some not working, director Colin Trevorrow had decided to start an internet challenge where he gets people to post a photo of them at work.
And his post? A photo of him working on the set of Dominion. Check it out:
To all professionals in the film, television, entertainment and arts world, join the challenge to post a photo of you in your job. Just a picture, no description. The goal is to flood social media with our profession. Copy this text and post a pic. pic.twitter.com/opWF9zOt9T

The girl on the screen is actually Isabella Sermon who played Maise Lockwood in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. We don’t have any details of her role in Dominion, but I imagine that she’s going to be the figure of major scrutiny once it goes out that she was the one who released all those dinosaurs. Then again, I imagine that they wouldn’t want a third movie of everyone just hating on this little girl.
Admittedly Fallen Kingdom did not get the best reviews when it came out, but I thought that director J.A. Bayona did a great job when it came to capturing that horror element that was present in the first movie. We don’t know what Trevorrow has planned for this third film, but I have to say, it was pretty interesting that they decided to release the dinosaurs into the world and introduce us to a literal Jurassic World.
We probably won’t get a teaser or trailer anytime soon, but in the meantime, you can check out Trevorrow’s short film Battle at Big Rock, which gives us a look at the world after the events of Fallen Kingdom.
Catch Jurassic World: Dominion when it hits theaters June 11, 2021.
