After months of waiting, The Mandalorian is finally back on Disney+. While everyone is watching the further adventures of Din Djarin, Xbox just made a very interesting tweet that has everyone speculating.

All we're gonna say is that we're not posting The Mandalorian and The Child for no reason pic.twitter.com/LK5iDuzDcn

With the Xbox Series X|S launching this week, a lot of people are almost sure that this means that a Mandalorian game is incoming. Though we’re getting some more lightsaber adventures with the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, it would be great to get a game focused on a gunslinger like he Mando.
Then again, this could be for something completely different. Xbox admittedly lost to the PS4 when it came to exclusives, but having an exclusive game based on The Mandalorian would be a huge feather in their cap should they get the license. With EA set to lose their Star Wars license in 2023, I could very well imagine that Microsoft is interested in doing what they could with the property, seeing that Star Wars has a huge fanbase, and a lot of them are starved for some good Star Wars games.
Personally, I’ll be bummed if Star Wars becomes exclusive to one console, so hopefully Microsoft would be more open minded to sharing the brand with other platforms. Maybe they can just be more selective on which titles become exclusive—but then again, until we get an official announcement on what the Mandalorian post was about, all we can really do is guess.
The Xbox Series X|S launches on Nov. 10. Catch the second season of The Mandalorian now on Disney+.
