At 94-years-old, people would think that Clint Eastwood won’t be too keen on shooting any more movies, but lo and behold he has another one releasing called Juror #2, and it stars Nicholas Hoult (The Great).
The movie is set to come out this November, and we have our first trailer. Check this out:
Here’s the official description for the film:
“Juror #2” follows family man Justin Kemp (Hoult) who, while serving as a juror in a high profile murder trial, finds himself struggling with a serious moral dilemma…one he could use to sway the jury verdict and potentially convict—or free—the accused killer.
Besides Hoult, the movie also includes the likes of Toni Collete, J.K. Simmons, Chris Messina, Gabriel Basso, Zoey Deutch, and Kiefer Sutherland.
Eastwood may not have the same kind of status as auteur directors like Tarantino or Spielberg, but every few years he manages to direct some films that are generally received pretty well. Admittedly, his last movie Cry Macho didn’t get the most stellar of ratings, but Eastwood still managed to get good reviews for movies like Richard Jewell, Sully, and American Sniper.
At 94-years-old, you’d think that this would be Eastwood’s last movie, but it would be interesting if he actually had two or three more in him before he actually decides to retire. Then again, this film already looks like it’s going to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.
Juror #2 is expected to hit theatres on Nov. 1.
