Though it’s been confirmed that Hayden Christensen will be coming back for the Obi-Wan Kenobi series on Disney+, we have yet to get any official images or promos. We don’t know when Lucasfilm will give us our first look at the show, but Christensen has been spotted wearing a hat from the Kenobi stunt team.
Check it out the picture of Christensen down here:

While it’s not official confirmation, having Christensen sport merch for the stunt team could confirm that he’s going to be doing some more lightsaber fight scenes again. We don’t know if it’s either for Vader or Anakin Skywalker, but I’m hoping we get to watch two versions of Anakin in action onscreen.
No plot for the miniseries has been revealed, but rumors have come out that it will take place between the events of Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope; and it will have Vader hunting down Obi-Wan. While we should expect some episodes to keep Kenobi on Tatooine, it would be great if we could have him travel to other worlds or try to save some other Jedi from the Inquisitors.
While I personally would have loved to have Kenobi return on the big screen, series director Deborah Chow has expressed that she prefers the series format, which allows for deeper character exploration. I’m just hoping they keep each installment an hour, because the 30-minute runtime for The Mandalorian episodes can get seriously frustrating.
No release date has been set for Obi-Wan Kenobi, but fans are expecting a debut on Disney+ sometime around 2022. The next live-action Star Wars show, The Book of Boba Fett, premieres sometime in this holiday season.
