Director Ruben Fleischer just had a win with the release of Venom, and now he’s come back to a familiar franchise in the form of the Zombieland sequel. Just in, Sony has given us a first look at the returning cast for Zombieland: Double Tap.

As you can see, the cast looks mostly the same, save for Little Rock who has obviously grown in the past 10 years. While we shouldn’t consider this as the final poster for the movie, it’s still pretty cool that they made an homage to the original.
We don’t have an official synopsis released by Sony yet, but rumor has it that the story will revolve around the group trying to recover Little Rock as she runs off with some boy. It’s also said that the film will introduce a badass woman character in the form of Nevada, and she’ll be butting heads with Tallahassee. Until we get an official description of the film, we should probably just take this with a grain of salt.
Zombieland is one of the few entries in the zombie-comedy genre, and he clever writing and great casting makes for a fun film. It’s been a decade since the last release, but I’m still eager to see how Columbus has updated his zombie survival guide over the years.
Not to mention there’s a rumor going around that Bill Murray is going to make a return, so there’s that to look forward to.
Catch Zombieland: Double Tap in theaters Oct. 11.
