Reveals have been slow for Netflix’s live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender series, but with the streaming service gearing up for more reveals on #GeekedWeek, we now have out first look at some key Fire Nation players in the series including Zuko (Dallas Liu), Iroh (Paul Sun-hyung Lee), Azula (Elizabeth Yu), Commander Zhao (Ken Leung), and Fire Lord Ozai (Daniel Dae Kim).

Admittedly, a lot of fans think that Zuko’s scar is a bit more tame in the series, much like in M. Night Shyamalan’s live-action Zuko as well. Some guess that this would just be easier to deal with production-wise, as the scar from the animated version covers a larger area, having burned off Zuko’s eyebrow and ear; it would have probably taken more time and money to have someone apply a prosthetic rather than just color in the scar with minimal effects.
Besides that, we see that Zuko also sports the ponytail with the shaved head, which was his signature look in Season 1. Everyone else from the show also looks fantastic, but it’s unclear what their role is going to be in the first season. We know that Iroh and Zhao are going to be major players, but Ozai wasn’t revealed until Season 3 and Azula was only a major player in Season 2.
No release date has been announced for Avatar: The Last Airbender, but fans are hoping we get a date by next week.
