Rumors have been going around that Taylor Swift was going to be in Deadpool 3 thanks to the video of her at the Kansas City Chiefs games with the Deadpool team walking behind her (including Hugh Jackman, Ryan Reynolds, and director Shawn Levy). While nothing official has been confirmed, everyone has started buzzing about Swift’s possible cameo in DP3, and a lot of fans want her to play the Dazzler.

Dazzler was a comic character introduced back in the 80s, and was a mutant that could turn sound vibrations into light and energy beams. She is considered by some to be an LGBT icon, and she made her live-action debut in the poorly received Dark Phoenix movie with Sophie Turner (who is currently hanging out with Swift).
Of course, nothing official has been confirmed about Swift’s appearance in Deadpool, but you can’t blame the fans for wanting her in the part. Swift has been known to take the occasional acting role, and a character like Dazzler is someone who probably won’t have to appear that much onscreen yet still have a presence—kind of like Shakira’s Gazelle in Zootopia.
Production may be halted due to the SAG-AFTRA strike, but with negotiations underway, things should start kicking up again for Deadpool 3. Catch the film in theaters on May 3, 2024.
