Batman and Robin have always been called the “Dynamic Duo” but it looks like DC Studios is going to change that with their upcoming animated film.
As announced by James Gunn, a movie focused on the two Robins—Dick Grayson and Jason Todd—is in the works, and the movie is going to be called Dynamic Duo. Check out the announcement:

We don’t know much when it comes to story, but fans have noticed that The Batman director Matt Reeves’ production company 6th & Idaho is attached. With Reeves also delivering The Penguin, some think that Dynamic Duo could be set in The Batman universe; but some say that this will actually be canon to James Gunn’s DCU.
It’s not clear exactly what kind of animation to expect, but based on the description, it’s going to be a bit of mixed media with the studio Swaybox also said to be adept with puppetry and CG. While I’m thinking that the movie could embrace the punk aesthetic of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, the only recent big animated movie I can recall that had puppetry was The Mitchells vs. The Machines.
Judging by the timing of the announcement, it’s possible that the movie is aiming for a release date sometime next year, so we should expect a first look before the end of 2024. We don’t know exactly what the movie will look like yet, but with Sony’s Spider-Verse films setting a high bar, Dynamic Duo will definitely have to deliver.
