DC FanDome Releases New Teaser

We may not have gotten any big DC reveals with Comic-Con@Home, but this August is going to give us another virtual convention in the form of DC FanDome. The 24-hour event is set to come out later this month, and DC has dropped a teaser for it complete with some John Williams music.

Check it out:

To find out more about the event, you can actually go to DCComic.com/DCFanDome. There they’ve posted up some details about what you can do when FanDome kicks off on Aug. 22. Here’s the official description:

The epicenter of the DC FanDome is the Hall of Heroes, where you can experience special programming, panels and content reveals from a wide variety of films, TV series and games, available in several languages, including Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Spanish.  From there, navigate deeper into the DC Multiverse, exploring five additional satellite worlds, each with its own localized content and unique activities and one world fully devoted to our younger fans!

DC has also dropped this photo:

I have to say, the event isn’t here yet, but DC is doing a better job when it comes to communication. While a lot of people were excited for Comic-Con@Home, poor communication and a confusing format led to low engagement from the fans. Looking at FanDome, the interface isn’t so complicated, and it looks like it’s going to be easy to navigate through all the panels.

Then again, I’m just being optimistic here. Hopefully DC manages to pull it off when FanDome kicks off Aug. 22.
