Daredevil: Born Again Allegedly Bringing Back Bullseye from the Netflix Show

Kingpin may be the main villain for Daredevil, but the Man without Fear also has some more interesting people in his rogues gallery, including Benjamin Poindexter a.k.a. Bullseye. The third season of the Netflix show had Wilson Bethel playing the part, and it looks like he’ll be making a comeback in the reboot/sequel.

According to ComicBook.com, Bethel will be reprising the role of Bullseye in Daredevil: Born Again for Disney+. We don’t have any official details on how large his role is going to be, but we should expect him to but heads with Matt Murdock again—or at least show up in a prison cell with some playing cards.

In the comics, Bullseye doesn’t have powers, but he’s so proficient when it comes to targeting anything that literally any object can be dangerous in his hands. In the series, he dresses up as a fake Daredevil and goes head-to-head with Matt Murdock.

While a lot of people love Bethel’s Bullseye, one of my favorite scenes with the character is still in the 2003 Daredevil where Bullseye (Colin Farrell) kills an old lady with a peanut.

If anything, he’s kind of like the evil Hawkeye of the MCU, and with that in mind, it would actually be cool if we somehow got that crossover down the line. Hopefully Jeremy Renner would be down—or Hailee Steinfeld.

Production is said to have resumed for Daredevil: Born Again, so hopefully we can see a teaser before the year ends.

No release date has been set for Daredevil: Born Again.
