Captain Marvel is set to come out in a few months, and Marvel Studios has released two new videos to promote the film—a short new trailer and a BTS featurette.
Captain Marvel Special Look:
I really like how this new clip highlights on the friendship between Carol Danvers and Nick Fury. With Fury being the one to call the beacon on Captain Marvel at the end of Infinity War, it would make sense that the two would be chums at some point.
The clip also gives us a look at Jude Law’s Starforce Commander, and it’s possible that he’s either Mar-Vell of Yon-Rogg in this film. Either way, I’m convinced he’s a villain, and the Kree have brainwashed Carol into thinking that they’re the ‘good guys’.
Captain Marvel BTS Featurette:
The featurette only gives us new bits and pieces from the film, but it also highlight the crazy amount of work that Brie Larson had to go through to get her superhero physique. After spending 9 months just training, I’m actually thinking it’s a waste that Larson won’t be able to show it all off with her suit covering her full body, but I guess it’s all just part of the job.
Besides, I’m sure we’ll get a good look at her muscles when it comes to that training scene with Jude Law. Every MCU film has had a shirtless scene with the heroes showing off their bodies, and I don’t expect Captain Marvel to have that exception.
