Crystal Dynamics made a huge swing and miss with Avengers: A-Day, and while the game may be dead now, some concept art has been revealed of who would have been an incoming character.
As shared by Miller Ross on Twitter, here’s concept art of a playable Jennifer Walters a.k.a. She-Hulk that was supposed to appear in the second season of the game. Check this out:
This is Crystal Dynamics' She-Hulk as she was slated to appear in the cancelled season 2 of Marvel's Avengers, to be voiced by Krizia Bajos.

The art comes from Sean Izaakse and the character was said to have been voiced by Krizia Bajos (Spider-Man 2, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League). We don’t know how she would play, but she’s likely going to be a more agile version of the Hulk, who was a playable character in the base version of the game.
Considered to be one of Square Enix’s biggest flops, Avengers: A-Day launched to terrible reviews, and was only able to survive for a few more years before Crystal Dynamics officially pulled the plug on the game’s live service.
In that time though, the game was able to release a bunch of DLC including playable Marvel characters like Black Panther, both Hawkeyes Clint Barton and Kate Bishop, Winter Soldier, Jane Foster, and Spider-Man. Despite the short hype the characters were able to get, they ultimately couldn’t save the game which just couldn’t seem to shake off its bad press during launch.
For now, it looks like Marvel has found their video game golden goose with Marvel Rivals. Reviews for the game have been great so far, but we’ll have to wait until the official release to see just how successful it can be.
Avengers: A-Day has been pulled from digital stores, but the game is still available via physical copies for PlayStation 4|5 and Xbox Series X.
