Unfortunately, the latest Call of Duty was hit with yet another leak earlier. The leak revealed information and a new trailer, which was likely meant to be a part of the livestream later today. To get out in front of the issue, Infinity Ward and Activision chose to officially release the trailer themselves, along with the following statement.
“Call of Duty®: Infinite Warfare returns to the roots of the franchise where large-scale war and cinematic, immersive military storytelling take center stage. Prepare for a gripping war story in which players fight against the Settlement Defense Front to defend our very way of life.”
Added at the end of the reveal is a sneak peek for the upcoming Modern Warfare Remaster, as well. A Legacy Edition will launch alongside the new CoD, at the price of $79.99, and will feature a downloadable copy of the Remaster. This Remaster includes the complete single player campaign and ten multiplayer maps.
You can watch the trailer below. What’s especially of note, other than the jaw-dropping launch into outer space, is the video lacking a mention of which platforms the game is set to release on. Though it does reveal that both Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered hits store shelves this holiday season on November 4.
