Ted Lasso wasn’t expected to succeed as well as it did, but everyone has fallen in love with Jason Sudeikis’ ever-optimistic foot ball coach. The third season is set to come back this March, and we have a new teaser featuring everyone else on ‘Team Lasso’.

We also have a synopsis for the third season:
In this third season of Ted Lasso, the newly-promoted AFC Richmond faces ridicule as media predictions widely peg them as last in the Premier League and Nate (Nick Mohammed), now hailed as the “wonder kid,” has gone to work for Rupert (Anthony Head) at West Ham United. In the wake of Nate’s contentious departure from Richmond, Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein) steps up as assistant coach, alongside Beard (Brendan Hunt). Meanwhile, while Ted (Jason Sudeikis) deals with pressures at work, he continues to wrestle with his own personal issues back home, Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham) is focused on defeating Rupert and Keeley (Juno Temple) navigates being the boss of her own PR agency. Things seem to be falling apart both on and off the pitch, but Team Lasso is set to give it their best shot anyway.
One character clearly missing from the lineup is Nate, who the last season has revealed to be the new coach for a rival team West Ham United. Though Nate did turn out to be the surprise villain of the finale, I have a feeling that he’s eventually going to end up back in good terms with Ted and the rest—especially since he’s working for someone who is considerably selfish in the form of Rebecca’s ex, Rupert.
So far, each character has managed to grow in meaningful ways throughout the season, and a lot of fans are excited for the underdog AFC Richmond to push through with Ted behind them.
