Avengers: Infinity War Deleted Scene has Thanos Removing Guardians’ Souls

The neat thing about Disney+ is that they’ve also included special features for movies like deleted scenes. One scene from Infinity War actually has Thanos removing the souls of the Guardians of the Galaxy, and Spider-Man ends up saving them.

While the scene does have Spider-Man having a very “hero” moment with his pep talk to Mantis, I can understand why it had to be cut. It kind of puts the scene on hold, and steers away from the main action that’s Thanos fighting everyone else. I guess you can also say that the scene where Drax wakes and tells Mantis she’s ugly is kind of overplayed.

For now, we don’t know when the next team-up is going to be, but I imagine that Marvel Studios has earned a break. They have used 10 years to build up to the event that was Infinity War and Endgame, and they certainly did not disappoint. Whenever the next team-up happens though, I’m hoping that we get a brand new roster plus some old familiar heroes as well. I want to see the likes of Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk fighting alongside War Machine and Sam Wilson’s Captain America.

Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers unite to battle their most powerful enemy yet — the evil Thanos. On a mission to collect all six Infinity Stones, Thanos plans to use the artifacts to inflict his twisted will on reality. The fate of the planet and existence itself has never been more uncertain as everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment.

Marvel Studios already has the next two years of MCU material lined up. We have the Black Widow movie set to come out on May 1, 2020, and Disney+ is going to give us The Falcon and The Winter Soldier sometime in the fall of the same year.
