THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR ALIEN: ROMULUS
The Xenomorph may be the icon of the Alien franchise, but the series has fun when they play around with the xeno’s DNA and splice it in many different ways.
The latest movie Alien: Romulus also comes with its own special hybrids, and the final moments of the movie has lead Rain (Cailee Spaeny) facing off against the “Alien Offspring” which looks like a xeno with human skin stretched around it.
When the movie came out, people were posting up memes of how the alien looked like internet celebrity Robert Bobroczky who became famous years ago for his phenomenal height of 7’7” while he was playing basketball in high school.

What’s crazy is, the movie actually did cast Bobroczky in the film as the Alien Offspring, and fans are getting shocked at the revelation.

Romulus is actually Bobroczky’s first acting gig. He had moved to the US to pursue college basketball, but he had to go back to Romania in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He returned to Rochester University in 2021, and now he’s starring in the latest Alien.
While the movie has been getting some flak for the crime of ‘digital necromancy’, director Fede Alvarez is still getting praise for his ability to set the mood and deliver some genuine frights and disturbing visuals.
We don’t know if a sequel has been greenlit, but a lot of the reception has been positive so far—at least more positive than the last film, Alien: Covenant.
As someone who thought that Prometheus was actually good, it would be great if 20th Century Studios decided to allow Ridley Scott to close his arc with the David character. Maybe they could let him do it with Alvarez with the Romulus sequel? Pretty please.
Catch Alien: Romulus now showing in theatres.
