A Second Season of Secret Level has been Greenlit

We may not be getting a new season of Love, Death, and Robots soon, but Amazon Prime Video is delivering on the animated anthology series genre with Secret Level. The series just premiered on the streaming platform, and it looks like we’re going to be seeing more of it.

According to Variety, Secret Level has already been renewed by Amazon for a second season. No new details have been revealed, but it is said that the show has managed to become the most-watched animated series debut on the platform. The series was apparently able to gather 155.3 million minutes watched in the US alone.

Though Love, Death and Robots was successful on its own, Secret Level has a major advantage in that every short is based on an existing IP, whether it be Warhammer, Pac-Man, or Dungeons and Dragons. A lot of fans have been asking for a Mega Man series for years and though it isn’t a full film, an entry in Secret Level is probably the next best thing.

Not to mention the series has also managed to gather a lot of great talent. Besides the likes of Temuera Morrison and Ariana Greenblatt (The Mandalorian, Ahsoka), the series also has some A-listers like Arnod Schwarzenegger, Kevin Hart, and Keanu Reeves.

We don’t know what the next season could bring, but hopefully we get some great entries from incoming and existing IP. A lot of fans want more Warhammer 40,000, but an entry from The Witcher or Cyberpunk 2077 would be great. How about that Overwatch short finally, or a Marvel Rivals episode?

Catch Secret Level now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
