3. Jason Todd’s Red Hood
As usual, fans were given another reason to despise Batman’s biological son, Damian Wayne, in the first Injustice. In the prequel comics before the game launched, it was revealed that Damian had killed Dick Grayson. Batman disowned him, and during the game’s story mode, Kevin Conroy’s cold delivery of “You stopped being my son when you killed Dick Grayson. He was my son,” was enough to propel any player into giving Damian the beating he so very well deserved.
But Jason Todd must have been in the wild, likely leading some insurgency group to fight Superman’s forces. Such a representation of the character would show him in all of his unstoppable glory. In truth, he would probably play like a mixture between Bats and Deathstroke. His hand to hand combat and mixed martial arts training, matched with the tactical and quick to draw know-how seen with Slade Wilson… he’d be a powerhouse.
Add in some chilling Batman/Red Hood conflict, with Troy Baker hopefully voicing him, give him super moves fans wish the Bat could have, and he’d quickly become a fan-favorite. If Red Hood were to wind up being a mixture between Batman and Deathstroke, he would probably be an annoying character to be pit against online, but we’ll save that worry for later.
